PURVIS Systems Awarded Homeland Security Contract

Middletown, RI, February 17, 2007 – PURVIS Systems Incorporated, an engineering and information technology (IT) company based in Middletown, Rhode Island, was awarded a contract by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) to provide program management and test and evaluation services to the Homeland Security Programs Office.
Naval Undersea Warfare Center is responsible for research and development, prototyping, and systems development of submarine and undersea warfare systems. NUWC's Homeland Security Programs Office coordinates and manages homeland security and anti-terrorism and force protection related programs within the center.
Under the $1.4 million contract, PURVIS will provide program management services in the development of program and staffing plans, work breakdown structures, and financial planning documents. Additionally, PURVIS will offer engineering and technical services for the test, evaluation and documentation of homeland security and anti-terrorism and force protection sensors and systems.
